As a filmmaker you are always in pursuit of a fresh angle for your soundtrack. At the time of hearing about Snip-Snap, I was working on a series of shorts for Channel 4 so I showed them one of the films without audio and they immediately suggested the use of a very specific sound. They had a creative yet clear approach to what would and wouldn't work. The resulting track had an unusual off kilter sound which worked brilliantly and added a very distinctive emotion to the short"
